W. Gallery is pleased to present our new show By Example––featuring artists Lynn Basa, Alexis de Chaunac, Eric Gushee, T Antonakis Kane, William J O’Brien, Wei Wei, and Glenn Wexler. Curated by Zachary Weber, this group show explores the idea of sincerity in the making of one’s art. 

“By Example, W. Gallery’s third group exhibition, showcases the necessity of why we make art and what art can tell us. Built from responses to the question: ‘What makes your work sincere?’, seven artists transform the gallery into a lively discourse between authenticity, self-discovery, and personal investigation. This powerful collaboration brings together emerging and established talent, celebrating what it means to foster sincerity in practice.”*

Weber curates a selection of seven artists, assembling a diverse collaboration that includes both established and emerging talents. This careful curation supports a continuous conversation between sincerity and art. Each artist adeptly utilizes their unique approach to convey with selected materials and expressions.
